I was trying to streamline my searches with Lens feature to quickly apply custom settings like region, order by, and time filters. However, it seems that Kagi’s Lens feature doesn’t currently support this level of control.
To work around this, I created a custom bang that includes these parameters, and it works quite well. Recent International (!recenti)
That said, it would be great if Kagi provided a native way to perform such filtered searches directly—without needing to rely on custom bangs. Ideally, this could be something like a “Quick Filter” preset (next to lens dropdown, with bang to activate it) or just nice UI for the existing custom bangs feature, which allows you to interactively select the desired filters.
This would improve efficiency and make the experience more seamless for power users.
