When using the android app to search maps is missing. I feel like maps is MUCH more important than podcasts for example.
When using the mobile site on firefox, maps is there but you can scroll to it easily.
I feel like with the whitespace on the splash screen, it could easily add a link to "maps" search.
Open the app, maps is there to launch straight into maps.
