Safe search is always turned on for image search

NSFW results will not show up in image search even if safe search is off. Just use simple term nude. The result is empty.

Search for term nude in image search. Expected "some" results.

What browser do you use? for me safe search stays on the last selection option. So if i turn it off, it stays off

Thibaultmol I am using vivaldi, safe search is off ( i checked, both in control panel, and in settings where i can see two safe search, image and normal search). I also turn it on and off and no effect. I have tried this on edge/chrome, same result. So it's not browser related. It only started recently, maybe within 3 days?

Ah i found the reason, it seems my region(Singapore) has something to do with it. I changed to amsterdan and it seems fine.

Same here, this is an issue that is an absolute deal breaker and has been apparent for as long as I can remember.

Searching from Australia in Firefox, Waterfox,, Brave and LibreWolf all return SFW images even with the suffix 'nude' after the search term. Using a VPN for Brazil, this is not the case.

fuzzboy it only started recently for me, so I thought it was a bug.

I'm not seeing that. I get plenty of NSFW images if I search for "nude."

I think this issue is specific to the asian servers

The difference between a Google Image Search and Kagi Image Search for NSFW content is quite stark.
