hmmm. I noticed something about the assistant ui and I'm wondering if it's having an effect on performance as well.
So: I use a browser extension called linkclump. it allows me to hold down a key and select a region on screen and it will then copy all hyperlinks in that box either to clipboard or open them in new tabs.
I FEEL LIKE (?) assistant used to be fine with this but in the last couple months somwhere I can no longer do this without it also selectging a bunch of other stuff.
What I expect to happen when I'm on an assistant thread like this:

If I use linkclump, it should just only show me the boxes of those links in the url column.
But as you can see, it's also finding a bunch of other hyperlinks in the same area even though those aren't shown

What seems to happen is that the list of 'sources' that Ki shows in the collapsed view of it's workflow is not actually properly hidden. it's just css'd away (but maybe using the wrong css param?)
So linkclump is still picking it up.
This doesn't feel like a fault of Linkclump but a fault of the way that section is being hidden

here you can see one of the sources still show up if I hover over it in the dev tools
