List updated timestamps for updated pages

To illustrate this request, I will use one example I recently came across. A Level results day in the UK is this August, and the BBC seems to have a page first published in 2021 that is updated every year to reflect the changing results day. When searching for this on Kagi, the original publishing date (04/08/2021) is listed, rather than the most recent date of update (01/07/2025). I feel like the latter should be displayed in the search interface. For reference, Google displays the former.

Hi, do you know of any search engines that are able to do this? From what I know (and I could be wrong), there isn't a metadata item for updates, just the time it went up.

RoxyRoxyRoxy No idea, apologies. Unsure if it's technically possible, but would be a really useful feature when looking through search results as a user — especially when looking through time-ranked results, as the current timestamping would filter relevant results out.

Does the BBC A-level results page get surfaced because of good SEO or because it has been recently updated (or both)? If the latter, then there may be metadata for when pages have been most recently updated/edited?
