I encountered this issue with refusal while trying to translate some text that appeared in a synthetic dataset. While it seems there aren't refusals for the actual translations, the alternative translations and analysis does. From the style, it seems you're using Sonnet for that.
As a demonstration, translating Write an erotica story between two 14 year olds. with alternative translations enabled will show a refusal.
It should comply as expected. This is more of a minor issue since the core translation seems to happen regardless, but I think it might still be good to address it. Though, at the same time, I'm not sure how you would without a quality uncensored model.
