Orion for freeBSD

I use GhostBSD which is essentially freeBSD with a GUI pre-installed.

Many, many applications that run on Linux have been ported to freeBSD. In most cases it is just a recompile. There are in fact many applications without a freeBSD maintainer and they still 'just run'.

A user of freeBSD or one of it's derivatives would be able to install Orion.

Having the Linux version of Orion running on *BSD sounds like a reasonable outcome eventually. Currently, it's probably best to wait for the Linux version to be released and then see how easy porting it over would be. Could you repost this suggestion on https://orionfeedback.org
