Kagi Translate can already detect which language you are typing in, so I would like to see an option in the language list that is just called something like "Auto select", which will automatically select the language that is being used.
This is useful when you are translating from a language you are not entirely sure what is. It can also be a quicker way to translate from a language, if selected by default, than having to open the list of languages and search for the language you are translating from.
I imagine it would sometimes mix up similar languages like Portuguese and Spanish, or Norwegian and Danish, but in these cases, the user can manually select the correct language from the language list.
I imagine the feature would work similarly to the "Detect language" option in Google Translate.
This option is always easily accessible for the users to select.
In the case of Google Translate, when they have detected the language, they display it as "(language) - Detected" to show that the language was automatically detected, and not selected manually.
