Problem
Currently, the team plan has an administrator that has an active sub (if I'm not mistaken) and every domain ranking preference of that admin is shared with the whole team. However, that seems undesirable to me, as every team member has its own preferences for domain rankings, and the administrator user has their own preferences that they don't want to enforce for everyone.
It seems that a feature of being able to select which rules to apply to the whole team is already on the roadmap, but so far this is not possible.
Proposed solution
One option to get around this is to have the administrator be an unused account, but that way you'd still be charged for that admin team member subscription.
So, I propose that the admin account can be an inactive sub, in order for domain ranking preferences to be set and shared only if desired with the whole team, while not being charged for one extra team member subscription.
Other considerations
However, the question is whether this wouldn't be as much or more work than just being able to selectively apply rules for the team, for the Kagi team to implement. Therefore, this might be an option that's not worth considering.
Usage
When subscribing to Kagi Team plan, one does not need an active subscription for that account, but one can still manage these shared preferences somewhere in the team plan settings (or in the domain ranking settings page specifically)
