I'd love to see a Weather layer in Kagi Maps. Been shopping for weather apps lately, because I find the Google Weather app on android to be anemic. However, the vast majority of weather apps out there are just the same data sources repackaged in some novel UI supported by ads. The few quality apps that you can pay for are usually overkill. It feels like this might be a sweet spot that Kagi could fill.
What I really would like is something to give me an hourly forecast for the day, a 10-day forecast, and then a radar layer that I can use if storms are coming through.
I would point you to Windy for UI/implementation ideas, but I would add that that's far more than I'm expecting (it's a full-blown weather product with tons of data). Ideally, in my sweet spot I have in mind something between this and what's offered by your typical iOS/Google Weather apps.
