The new feature I'm suggesting is a credit system for the assistant, the use case is: I pay monthly for the ultimate tier which gives me access to the assistant, and this is the first month that I've actually used it a lot, so much so that I got the warning for fair use (You're nearing your AI usage limit under our fair use policy), and according to the documentation about this:
https://help.kagi.com/kagi/ai/assistant.html#fair-use-policy
Fair Use Policy
We use a value-based usage system to maintain high-quality service for all users:
Your monthly plan determines your token usage allowance.
For example, a $25 monthly plan provides up to $25 worth of token usage across all models.
I'm paying for $25 dollars so I get $25-ish dollars of tokens, but I've had this ultimate subscription for months now, and it seams a little "unfair" to reset my credit each month.
So my suggestion is to keep a credit system, like so:
First month: I pay $25, have a total at the start of $25 and use $10
Second month: I pay $25, have a total at the start of $40(25+15) and use $20
Third month: I pay $25, have a total at the start of $45(20+25) and use $30
And so on...
It's just more fair to let me use the token money I've already paid instead of just keeping it when you already take a cut on top of the AI like you say on the fair use documentation:
I know you are a company, but from all the blog posts and communications with your community you seam pretty fair and honest, so it's just a suggestion on a more fair system so that we the users get all that we paid for with our money.
