News dates are not correct

search for something like "sci-hub"
look for some results which have jan 2022 date
open result link and you will find the article date is before Jan 2022

Expected behavior:

Perhaps the news results are reporting hackaday's embedded "today's date" at the time the article was crawled? Kagi evidently "knows" that article is older; it won't surface in a normal search if you limit its scope to the past month.

But it prominently appears in results if the scope is changed to Y2018.

EDIT: clarifying my conjecture, poor wording.

Often time a date would indicate modified date and even sometimes when the page in question was heavilly discussed around.

Also I see this searching for "s3 vpc endpoint" on the 2nd result. Date says Jan 15, 2021 but the actual date of article is May 11, 2015
