To help users manage their Assistant usage tokens more effectively, Kagi could implement a notification system that tracks the remaining days and tokens in the current billing cycle. If a user exceeds a calculated daily soft limit (based on tokens divided by days in the cycle), Kagi would notify them of higher-than-average usage, enabling better token management.
An Info icon (i) could be displayed to the right of the microphone button, showing a tooltip or panel with:
- Current day's token usage
- Average daily tokens remaining (based on total tokens left and days in the cycle)
- Total tokens remaining for the current billing cycle
