Android app shortcuts often opens the wrong function

Sometimes I launch assistant or the summarizer through the app shortcuts and end up on the default search screen instead. Or if I recently used a function like assistant and try to open the default screen, I get redirected back to assistant.
There seems to be some inconsistency in how these functions are handled.

Unfortunately I can't easily reproduce this behavior, but it happens frequently enough that I decided to file this bug report.

I know you're preparing a new app release, so maybe this bug can be fixed too.

I personally feel like I've been exploring the aphids in amount while testing and I haven't come across this.
Could you say what Android version you're using and what device if possible.

Also do you use the widget at all? Might be useful to know.
What is your default way of searching using the app? (Clicking the app icon, or using the widget?)

I finally found a way to reproduce at least one of the bugs.

Open the assistant using the shortcut (from the home screen or submenu, it's the same)
Press "home"
Open Kagi Search from the shortcut on the screen
The assistant opens again

I'm using Android 10, Oxygen OS 10.0.11.

I've never used the widget.
My default (and only) way to search with the app is clicking the app icon i parked on the home screen.

I finally found a way to reproduce at least one of the bugs.

Open the assistant using the shortcut (from the home screen or submenu, it's the same)
Press "home"
Open Kagi Search from the shortcut on the screen
The assistant opens again
