I would like to propose a new feature for our AI assistant that enhances the clarity and usability of its responses. This feature would focus on delivering concise and direct information by removing unnecessary elements from the AI-generated replies. By focusing on the essential information, users can quickly grasp the content, which makes it easy for users to make fast and clean information collection. (That's really what "copy" does mostly) I propose this as in my personal experience, most of the time we don't have a need to include all reference from Internet when we copy a message, and deleting them is quite a painful task, especially when using Ki.
The "Clean Copy" functionality would automatically edit AI responses to remove:
- References and citations that are not essential for the user's understanding.
- Phrases that describe the AI's process or intentions, e.g. "Here is the information you requested."
- Any additional commentary or meta-information that does not contribute to the core content.
In my imagination this belongs to a sub-menu of the current "copy" button or just an advanced feature that user can enable in their assistant setting.
