I'm having this issue as well. I don't know if it always happens, but for reference, here is the one example prompt I used with Gemini 2.5 Pro:
"I am reading that if we demand that a function f(x) is extendable to a function f(z) of the complex variable z such that f(z) is smooth in the sense that it is merely required to be once differentiable, then what does the word "extendable" mean in this context?"

The Kagi assistant took a really long time to respond to this. So much so that I switched to the Gemini app and got the answer from there instead. Even an application like Poe was able to come back with a response very, very quickly compared to the Kagi assistant. I'm not sure if I remember it being this slow or if it's my imagination that it's only recently gotten worse. Perhaps you guys have some backend metrics that you can check?
This kind of delay can make the Kagi assistant pretty unusable for me. I really want this to work because I love the search integration that other apps like Poe struggle to provide. But a long delay between the question and answer just makes it very hard!
