In assistant, I requested it to make markdown table to import into Obsidian and it had to embed images into one of the columns. that when I noticed that if it tries to render such a table, the 
style obsidian embeds just dissapear.
in my example I am forcing it to render the markdown table because otherwise it wouldn't do it. but the way i originally discovered it, it had rendered the table by itself.
