iOS now allows third party apps to register themselves as translation apps, and users can set the default translation app system-wide. This is used when selecting text and selecting “translate” from the context menu. It would be great if the Kagi app hooked into this API and let users use its translation features throughout iOS.
iOS now lets apps register themselves as translation apps, which lets users use third party apps to translate selected text. Google translate is one app that's adopted this.
It would be great if the Kagi app provided the same feature so that Kagi translate could be used everywhere in iOS instead of just in one’s browser.
