Hello Magicians at Kagi,
It would make a significant and positive difference to me (and perhaps many others of my ilk), if I could have an option for "British English" as a target for translation in the Translate service. Right now it just says "English" which for me, means British English but it doesn't emit British English.
There are some words which mean entirely different things in the land which gives the language its name and how it's dialect is, across the pond. So, it would even make sense to have a different option for "source language" be selectable as British English.
A simple example (pardon the coarse language): "pissed" (as slang) means "drunk" while across the pond, they use it to mean "angry/irritated". However, for that, on this side of the ocean, we say "pissed off".
Another simple example is the word "homely".
As you can see, the difference exists even in everyday words and phrases. So translations to and from a snippet of text may turn out to be incorrect.
Cheers,
