When submitting "reddit" in Kagi search, the top section of the results consist of 6 low quality YouTube videos. Most probably they are pushed there because of the #reddit tag in the title, but still - they are not relevant, and different from the nice, top results from the /videos?q=reddit tab.
Server: EUROPE-WEST2.
Replicated on desktop Edge, desktop Chrome, mobile Edge.
Steps to replicate:
- Search for 'reddit'
- Observe the top of the search results
→ 6 unrelated, low quality videos on the top (one video was already deleted 🤔)
The behavior changes with the regional filters, so really anything that edits the query. The example flow below is showing the "correct" results:
- Set any region as the default one in the settings (e.g., Germany)
- Search for "reddit" → you'll get results with YouTube videos, with Germany set up as the default region filter, but not being part of the query
- Change the region filter to something else (e.g, International) → No videos anymore
- You can even change the region filter back to the default one (Germany) → No videos

I expect to not have videos at all, or have them somewhere lower in the search results.
