“curled quotes” instead of "straight quotes"

I prefer using “curled quotes” instead of "straight quotes" in my writing. In one word: proper typography. Can Kagi's spelling and grammar work with that, instead of changing everything to straight quotes?

My experience is that it does when writing longer text. But it doesn't with short text, as the attached screenshot shows.

Quality work using good typography.

This should be a bug report, not a suggestion. It seems that the current behavior of the proofreader is changing correct text to wrong text, which is the opposite of what it should do.

Well said. I guess I need to learn to distinguish between suggestions, bug reports and know how to post those.

Yep, sorry - this is indeed a bug. It's also why these changes don't show up in the corrections list, they shouldn't be there in the first place. I am working on improving proofreading and hopefully you should see improvements soon.
