Share/export translation meta data

I love the details that Kagi Translate shows when looking up a word or phrase, like the spelling, categories, explanation and examples.

What I'm missing here is a way to "share" all this meta data to a file, so that I could store it somewhere else.

I tried using Obsidian Web Clipper, but it's unable to read out of the forms in a manageable way, at least on mobile in Orion (sadly)

The way I would use it, would be to share this to my Obsidian system, and there work with it, storing as a "vocabulary" entry.

It would be nice it this export could include a way to format it, but it's not that important. What's most important is the sole ability to share the meta data and translation easily.

Hey, what we can do is add the dictionary entries to the translation history - which you can then export as a JSON. Does this work for you? It's already live.

If we can make it even easier, we're open to ideas.

Giorgio hey, that should do the trick. Though the json format is kind of a raw one, and may not be friendly to non-tech people. But I can manage it and it would be helpful here.

P.S maybe with an option to export favorites only? cause the history may be messy. Minor thing though, cause we can always clean up it.

unsymmetrical I assume the best possible option here would be exporting the current translation to markdown?

Giorgio yeah, that would be the ideal option. but if it's not possible right now now, I would love to at least see what you mentioned. But it would be more or less a "workaround" solution, before eventually getting the final version.

Just don't get me wrong, I'm not demanding anything here. kindly hoping for the best possible outcome!

unsymmetrical JSON export is already available in settings, I'll look into the markdown one soon 🙂
