deepseeksai.com should be removed from the index. it's purpose is clearly to decieve users into thinking it's affiliated with DeepSeek the company, by using a very similar domain name to deepseek.com as well as an identical favicon

To my understanding this website, while suspect of being SEO spam, contains no ads. This fact may be the reason why it was bumped up so high (or not bumped down) in the search results. I suspect it's the first of many SEO spam sites of this nature that will pop up in the future.

Instead of removing it, I think it'd be better just to add a small warning that it's not the official site and lower its ranking.

batuhan Curious as to your reasoning on this? This seems to just be a crypto scam page using DeepSeek as a lure to get clicks. I don't really see any reason that it should be up there any more than the numerous spam/scam pages that Kagi no doubt already filters out.

batuhan Sorry, I'm a little confused on what you mean here. There's no "text" to speak of on this page, pretty much some blurbs about DeepSeek's models (real), some graphs on the models (might be real), and then links to their crypto scam and its Telegram and X. Whatever info is in their graphs can almost certainly be found elsewhere, I genuinely do not see any value in this site.

batuhan Sure that's a concern and FWIW I don't support de-indexing sites based on "misinformation", that's editorialising best left to the end user with Kagi's tools. In this case though I don't really see that being an issue. I suppose it could be heavily downranked instead of blocked outright but imo Kagi should be entirely free of crypto scams impersonating legitimate sites.
