I try to locate a nearby place in Kagi Maps. The starting location on the map is in the US, while I'm in Europe, possibly because of my browser privacy settings. The search bar works perfectly, and finds the place, but when I click on the search result, the map display starts to move over the 10.000 km's of distance between the US and my city, wasting time and bandwidth.
I expect the location of the search result to immediately replace the content of the map area, especially for larger distances (like across the ocean).
