I was trying to find an official press release from Tesla for the Bay Area ride-hailing service they announced today, so I opened Kagi and searched for “site:tesla.com” with a time filter of “Past 24 hours”. The results include results that are on websites other than tesla.com.
Expected behavior: If I use the site: search option, I expect only results from the domain I specify. In this case, I expect only pages on tesla.com.
Actual behavior: The results contain matches from sanet.st, www.aliter.com, youtube.com, github.com, catalog.maryville.edu, geeksforgeeks.org, etc.
At first, there were a few results from testla.com, followed by the non-testla.com results, but after several page reloads, those results disappeared so now all results were from only non-tesla.com websites.
I tested a few other domains, and was unable to trigger this issue on other domains. tesla.com is the only domain I found this happens to.
