"Personalized Results" settings can be very, well, personal. I managed to convince my boss to get Kagi for me and a fellow coworker, and even between us two, preferences differ. The main point where issues arise because of shared boost/lower settings is language: I vastly prefer reading English websites, while he prefers reading a different one. This means that in some cases we want to end up on completely different domains when searching for similar terms (or subdomains... for example, I'd boost en.wikipedia.org and lower any other language version of Wikipedia if it ever popped up in my results, but that would mess up his results).
Giving team members the option to opt into and out of a shared list would be cool, but forcing it completely ruins the utility of this feature for us.
Not really something a user would actively use, but if personalized result sharing was removed, it would make personalized results more useful in teams. Optional sharing of personalized results within a team would be a nice cherry on top, but forced sharing has negative value and even just turning that off would already be a win.
Edit: The last paragraph has a weird start, because the feature request workflow asked two different questions... and now it's all in one text field? Anyway I hope I explained the issue well enough😀
