Favourites / snippets in Assistant

I absolutely love assistant and use it a lot. I find myself asking assistant for a terminal command or code snippet multiple times when I can't find the right conversation. Since we've got folders - to a certain degree - I think it would be great to be able to favourite a particular response, name it and put it in a folder called favourites. Then if i want to see how to do something I know I've done before I can just consult my little encyclopedia of snippets.

Perhaps each response could have a star which will then favourite the response. This would make a new item in a favourites folder with the single response, maybe with a link to "view in conversation context". The title of the favourite would be the question the user asked the model. Maybe it has been done somewhere else but I'm not aware of it.

Interesting idea. Do you know of any products (e.g. notes apps) that has such a feature implemented we could take a look at?

Ive not come across it exactly before but chatgpt has a system of highlighting and quoting specific text from a message. Perhaps similar to that, but then saves into a notebook system to organise the snippets? Also codeblocks often contain useful information i want to remember, so that could also have a save icon to add it to the "notebook". Sorry i cant direct you to an exact implementation of it

@Luis Ive come across an app called Readwise Reader. It works as an extension/app. So i can highlight stuff in documents / web - or in my case an assistant chat - and it will copy that notebook into a read-it later system. I can then view the notebook that contains my highlights. For me, the thing it lacks is global highlights. So id like to be able to look at a global notebook of all my highlights - for me these would most likely be code snippets - and this is document based but id like to be able to view highlights or snippets independent of their origin/chat - but maybe organised via tags or just put into a favourites. Here's an example from their system:

How would you expect to use this feature in the Assistant? For example, would you like a "favourites" tool that lets you save highlighted text to a specific thread, or download the highlight?
