Proposal to create an option to automatically open new tabs in the current tab group for mobile browsers that support them. Right now, there is only the option to open a resource in a new tab, which creates a separate new tab group on Chromium mobile browsers.
Tab groups on mobile browsers function similarly to the tab bar on desktop; you can see a whole row of open tabs, identify the one you need quickly, and click on it -- this takes one click and (typically) no loading time. However, opening as a new tab only (therefore creating a new tab group) in mobile is similar to opening in a new window on desktop: you no longer see your bar of current tabs, and have to make several clicks/gestures to return back to your original tab.
Note: this feature suggestion is not referring to tab groups on desktop, which organizes tabs by color and can nest them under a label. Mobile tab groups do in fact group tabs together, but also add a tab bar with favicons to the bottom of the screen that the user can visually navigate.
I have noticed this occur in both Chrome and Kiwi (which I understand to be a Chromium app), so I am judging that this functionality could extend to all Chromium browsers.

Allowing the option to "Open New Tab in Group" brings the same Kagi desktop experience onto mobile.
On desktop, the user scrolls through Kagi Search and opens a resource in a new tab, checks it, and loops back to the original tab where their search is waiting for them where they left off. In case they need to go back to their first resource, it's right there as well.
On mobile, this current workflow opens as a new tab, but the user cannot easily return back to the original search tab. They would have to go to Tabs, navigate through existing Tab Groups, click on the original Tab Group, and finally click on the original search tab. This process is complicated if the user already has Tab Groups opened.
If the "Open New Tab in Group" feature is added, mobile Chromium users could jump between new resources and the original search tab with approximately the same speed and ease that a desktop user would have.
