Lenses not working with 'Open First Result' \

I have a lens to search RFCs that I invoke with '!rfc keword'. But when I do '\!rfc keyword' I’m redirected to something other than the first search result of '!rfc keyword' (It’s a bit hard to tell but it might be the search result for when searching for literally '!rfc keyword' w/o invoking the lens)

This is coming from using the search plugin (which creates the URL directly)

When entering '\!rfc keyword' on the kagi.com homepage the drop down autosuggest says: 'Open First result for "!rfc keyword"' which I guess sort of confirms the hypothesis that is is search for literally '!rfc keyword' instead of invoking the lens.

Automatically redirect to the same first result that would have been shown had I invoked the lens without \ in front of it

The feeling lucky bangs (\ and !) do not currently support resolving bangs. They do support snaps though, does \ @rfcs query work?

Yes these do work. Although they seem a bit wonky. \@wde kagi works when entered on the kagi homepage but not when using the browser search (creating the query directly from URL parameters)

Independently of that snaps don’t fully do what I want in that particular case. My RFC lens is a bit more restrictive (only surfacing the HTML variant for example)

Lens bangs invoked as a snap should invoke the bang and work the same as the normal bang variant
