I want to use AI in a way like kagi.com/assistant?query=blablablabla
I've added Kagi Assistant to my new tab in Chrome, but I want it to automatically start an AI chat with the last model I selected when I type something in the search bar. I use AI more than search engines, so I think this feature should be implemented.
I envision users typing queries directly into their Chrome search bar and getting AI-powered conversations instead of traditional search results. For example, when asking "how to make sourdough bread" or "explain quantum computing," the AI would immediately provide comprehensive answers rather than links to sift through. Many browsers already support custom search engines with keywords (like typing "y" for YouTube searches), but this would go further by making AI the default interaction method. This feature would extend Chrome's existing search functionality by allowing seamless transitions between traditional web searches and AI-assisted knowledge retrieval based on user preference.
