Allow me to toggle enter in Kagi Assistant to not send messages and instead enter a newline.
I've lost hours in Kagi Assistant because I accidentally hit enter instead of shift+enter for a new line. I use Kagi Assistant heavily, and often with long prompts that entail a lot of typing. Hitting shift+enter for every newline is incredibly annoying. The time lost having to stop the current generation, scroll back, edit the original prompt, find where I was adds up. Especially since files or images in the prompt are lost on edits, and I have to copy everything to a new thread, re-upload the image or document - it's just exhausting.
If I can toggle whether enter sends a message or creates a new line would completely alleviate the biggest annoyance I have with Assistant.
This is a common pattern across most tools I use, I mean even LinkedIn added a feature to toggle what enter does.
Please - make it possible to switch enter to newline instead of sending messages.
This'll make it possible to comfortably write long and detailed prompts in Kagi Assistant. Something that's fundamental to getting good performance out of LLMs.
Just let me switch what enter does in the Assistant settings page. There's only a single setting in there, Thread Saving timer. Adding a setting to toggle the enter functionality wouldn't crowd the options.
