Clicked links are not displayed as "visited" on Chrome

When I click a link on Kagi, the link remains the default color and does not appear as "visited". This does not happen on the same device on Safari. This also does not occur in chrome for either Google or DuckDuckGo, it appears to only be an issue with Kagi.

Troubleshooting:

I've disabled all extensions
I've tried opening Kagi while in incognito mode
I've tried Safari and it functions as expected there
I've reset my Chrome theme

I have just started experiencing this too. Started happening in the last few days, don't know exactly when. Visited links work fine in Firefox, but in Vivaldi and Edge (which are both Chromium-based browsers) they do not change to the visited color. Quite annoying, please fix!

@Luis Any update on this? Have you been able to reproduce? Are you working on a fix?

The fact that this has apparently been a problem for some people since march, two months ago, with no update from Kagi I find quite strange. It makes using Kagi a much worse experience and is also a very odd bug to me. Having clicked links appearing clicked has been solved since web 1.0 - what are you guys doing that this is broken in Kagi search?

For what it’s worth, unfortunately this bug was enough for me to stop using Kagi. I’ll be glad to go back once I can see my visited links are displayed properly. I think this is a core functionality for a search engine.

I'm having the same issue in Vivaldi

This bug has stopped happening for me and clicked links now appear visited again as they are supposed to in Vivaldi and Edge.
