FEATURE TYPE: UI improvements for menu options on kagi.com search page
INTENDED OUTCOME: Make more apparent the hierarchy of menus on kagi.com search page
ISSUE: The current interface displays no differentiation between primary (first row) and secondary (second row) menu items. They display in the same font, style, indenting, etc. The long gray horizontal divider between them does not signal visual hierarchy/dependency, only separation.
SUGGESTED SOLUTION: To better to reveal the hierarchy/dependence of menus:
- Apply the colors currently associated with each primary menu item to the display of its secondary menu items
- For each primary menu item selection, adjust the gray horizontal divider to tie in to its submenu
Examples:

This proposal does not change any functionality or user interaction on kagi.com search page. All that is proposed are changes to the display of secondary menu items the better to reveal their hierarchy/dependence on primary options.
