Upvoted! This is something I’ve tried to do myself.
Though my use case might be a bit ‘weird & wonderful’ - sometimes I try to reproduce issues reported here or on the Kagi forum. In cases where I use a country or region that has nothing to do with me in the course of trying to walk in another’s footsteps, it seems weird to me that Kagi will just… remember that, and never let it go.
Luis You would like the option to manually delete these? Note that selecting different regions will automatically update the list
I can’t explain why - but for me, when I know a remembered country is one I’m unlikely to use ever again, I do wish I had the option of having it be forgotten. It’s a form of Kagi being personalised or customised for me in a way that just… feels incorrect? Another use case I could see is a friend / work colleague / partner quickly borrowing my MacBook to look into something, and me getting it back and now the list is populated with places I never chose, nor had any interest in. I can’t explain why it bothers me. But it’s my account… it should be accurate for me.
I think it might be related to how it is - in most cultures - considered deeply offensive to refer to somebody as if they were a member of the opposite gender. It’s not that there’s a good gender and a bad one. It’s just that, as human beings, we seek to define ourselves. Kagi is telling me I’ve an interest in places, when I know better.
I live in Ireland and almost always just use International. Maybe Ireland sometimes. Definitely not four regions.
