This could be a great way to reduce the cost for tool calling and tool usage, so we can make the assistant cheaper.
This will need testing if the quality is impacted or not, from my limited testing I don't have any problems currently.

Assistant Tools (Web Search) would be much cheaper so we could raise usage limits for Claude (or reduce the cost for kagi)
