Can I ask, what is the current state regarding this question:
Can the ?token=XXXX be appended to Kagi Translate to allow login ?
The reason I ask is because lately I see frequently a red Error message in the left, bottom side of the translate.kagi.com window which reads
All models failed: 429 "Rate limit exceeded"
I popped the following question into Kagi search:
How can I ensure that translate.kagi.com/proofread keeps recognizing my Kagi login and authentication? How can I add the Kagi 'login token' to translate.kagi.com/proofread?
Quick Answer
To ensure that translate.kagi.com/proofread keeps recognizing your Kagi login and authentication, you can use the login token provided by Kagi.
Here are the steps to add the Kagi login token to translate.kagi.com/proofread:
Obtain your Kagi login token from the Kagi API Settings page. Note that the token will only be shown to you once, so make sure to copy it securely when you first obtain it 1.
Append the login token to the URL of translate.kagi.com/proofread. The URL should look something like this: https://translate.kagi.com/proofread?token=XXXX, where XXXX is your actual token. This method has been discussed in the Kagi Feedback forum, indicating that it is a valid approach for maintaining your login session 2.
By following these steps, you should be able to ensure that translate.kagi.com/proofread recognizes your Kagi login and authentication consistently.
