Thanks, just checked out Kagi Kite. I definitely like the idea of it, as a way to quickly catch up on the news without doom-scrolling all day. I think you're right that there's some overlap with the text-to-speech suggestion here as well. Perhaps Kagi Kite could have an audio mode, where it provides a daily podcast of the news or something?
But that said, I think my text-to-speech use case is a bit different. I'm more interested in long-form articles on a topic, e.g. relating to programming, that is not necessarily topical news. Also, instead of a summary, I want to consume the full text - it's just I want to listen to it on the go, instead of reading on my phone/computer.
