Kagi Privacy Pass

Just wanted to say I am running into the same thing.

Firefox version: 141.0.3.
Privacy Pass does say its ready.
I added Kagi as a search engine through the default mechanism, which does not allow you to edit it (so I can't see the URL being used). If you know of an internal way either through the local profile files, or perhaps in another of the about:* pages, I would be glad to share.

If it helps, I can provide a video showing it happening. It reproduces 100%. It looks like the extension stopped the search from being started, you can go to the address bar and hit enter and the URL works 100%. I cannot hit refresh or its keyboard shortcut to get it to fire off though.

I know this hasn't gotten much traction, but as a sanity test I created a fresh/clean profile of Firefox with all other extensions disabled and still had the same issue. would be really nice to get this fixed. If there is additional info I can dig up, please let me know!

We are aware of the right click issue, I can reproduce it.
We will look into this and try to get that resolved, thanks for trying some things out.

I was able to get around this issue by manually adding Kagi as a search engine to my Firefox:

I didn't test with suggestions URL filled out, so someone else is welcome to if they care to keep that part.

It would be great if this extension was marked as supported on firefox mobile (android)

I have installed it manually (Settings > About Firefox > Tap the icon 5 times > Go back > Install extension from file) and it works just fine (except the gui looks not great, it only takes 1/4 of the screen because it is not responsive, that is not a deal breaker, as it will still work on any device)

It works, but firefox for android is very aggressive about putting extensions to sleep so it interferes with it and causes things to not work properly.
So we opted to not list it because it can't be guaranteed to work properly (and the UI sucks)

We can take another look at this at some point but it's possible with the apps and such at least for now.

Hi!
I just cannot get it to work with the android app. Every kagi function works apart from privacy pass. I just get a white screen whenever I click privacy pass from the "kagi" long press menu on the icon.

Are you on the latest app (1.0.7)? Have you tried to re-install?

Could you please provide:

Device:
OS: (Android 13, for example), or if you're using graphene/another custom os, etc.

I was really impressed with privacy pass at first, but it hasn't been activating for several weeks now maybe a month of so. I previously able to use it successfully with mullvad browser as well as vivaldi but now just seems to error trying to authenticate. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, deleting the tokens, re-adding the session link etc. Doesn't seem like it's working anymore.
