As a user, I would like to see rendered preview thumbnails next to each search result to visually narrow down the type of information that matches my query.
Example: Third option has a table and also is a perfect match for me personally.
Could be
- thumnails next to results
- mouseover hints popping up
- OR see all results as images only (grid view like image search) with minimal text to read
I want to ignorie all wall of text style, pseudo blog post text spam websites that dont conain the information I searched for but instead just bloat text to be search engine optimized.
This would be similar to users using image search to find matching info, however, with the benefit of being able to preview actual websites, or graphs that aren't images but rendered.
Those thumbnails could be further analyzed by some future featuers, e.g. classifying the type of information (table, graph, historic data, maps) instead of relying on search terms for this.
