Summarizer sometimes show an AuthenticationRequired error

Browsing to https://kagi.com/summarizer/ currently gives me the output:

I can access the rest of Kagi as usual, including using the summarize option from the Firefox browser plugin.

I also have seen this error before (on the 13th), but it fixed itself as I was reporting it.

I should see the form, or the result if the url param is present (which is how I initially accessed the page)

Hi @Deebster ,

This was a known issue with the Firefox extension a few months ago, and we subsequently updated it to fix it. Can you check that you are on the latest version? Even if so, can you try re-enabling the extension? Both internally and from users we noted we had to do this before the extension would exhibit the updated behavior, and we aren't entirely sure why yet.

I'm using plugin version: 0.7.4, last updated: 10 January 2025 on Firefox 134.0.2 (64 bit).

I loaded the summariser page again and still saw the error. I then disabled the plugin and then the page loaded. After re-enabling the plugin the page continued to load. So the plugin does seem to be at fault, although I am on the most recent version.

I'll keep an eye out for it failing again - is there any information you'd like me to collect if it reoccurs?
