When I want to add a link to a post on this site, I typically have the link copied already from my browser, which includes the preceding "https://". When clicking the add link button the following is generated: [](https://) The fact that there's an "https://" already in the parentheses is slightly annoying as it needs to be removed. To compound this, because of the way highlighting logic works (at least on Firefox) double clicking highlights only the "https", not the special characters.
Add an option to profile settings for kagifeedback.org to enable/disable this automatic addition. If disabled clicking the add link button should just generate the following: []() This should be disabled by default so users unfamiliar with markdown know what to do with the syntax. Very minor nitpick I know but it always catches me off guard adding a link here.
