Enforce future date selection, and resolve date picker issues

Trying to google a claim someone made, I found myself looking for something a couple months back. But if I were to search today, a more current would've taken over search results.

So I used the date filter, and yet articles are still labelled "today" and other recenty amounts.

I tried several times, by typing, by using the little popup calendar , double checking it, using enter vs clicking the button. But it just didn't work

When specifying an older date range, I expect older articles. I know that can be impossible for some content, but I do expect content labelled "Today" when explicitly filtering for not-today not to be there

I think you have from and to mixed around? (although you could argue that it shouldn't matter)

also not sure if you have a different setting but for me it's dd/mm/yyyy but seems like you're on mm/dd/yyyy

Thibaultmol It would appear so. The order of day/month/year shouldn't have mattered when I used the calendar popup thing though.

I suppose this is more of an issue of the date filter looking like it's working even though there is incorrect data in there

Yes, as Thibaultmol pointed out, the date filter wasn't working because the from: and to: fields were swapped -- it should be from: 11/30/2024 and to: 01/01/2025 (instead of 2024). Once corrected, it will work properly.

We will ensure users can only select future dates after entering the from: field.
And while we're at it, we will fix the date picker which isn't working well.
