Rightside movie widget does not appear in Sweden region, unless `&r=se` is in the URL

This is a bit of a strange issue because I can get it to appear and then disappear again. I do not see the movie widget on the right side of the screen:

For almost every movie I search for, it does not show the movie widget on the side. I've tried tens of movies but only for one did it appear. I also have problems with the wikipedia widget in general not showing for the majority of searches where you'd expect it.

I have all the search widgets turned on in the settings. I have the custom CSS box empty and disabled. I'm connected to EUROPE-WEST2 and using Microsoft Edge 131.0.2903.112 on Windows 11. I can also repro this in an extensionless private Chrome window.

I can get it to show though in two weird cases.

Case 1

I search "The Lego Movie" on kagi.com
The widget does not show
I click the share button and copy the query into a new tab
The widget does now show
If I remove the share param from the URL, the widget stays
If I remove the Swedish region param from the URL, the widget disappears (note that the Sweden region is selected in the UI before and after this, but has different results for the widget)

Case 2

I search "The Lego Movie" on kagi.com
The widget does not show
I change my region from "Sweden" to "International"
The widget now shows
I change back my region to "Sweden"
The widget still shows

It seems that while I am using the Sweden region, the widgets only show if &r=se is present in the URL. This seems to be the common factor of whether the widget shows or not.

The widgets are all malfunctioning for me.
If I search for "Mona Lisa" I get a widget result. If I search for "mona lisa" I won't.
If I search for "Microsoft" I won't, but if I search for "microsoft" I will.
This illustrates that capital letters are tripping out the results.

I've noticed that this is very inconsistent depending on if you're doing an International Search, a US search, or Australia (this is my location). I very much expect these Widgets to ALWAYS display regardless of what country you are searching.

The original example I provided now seems to work for me. I.e., searching "the lego movie" (or any other movie) now brings up the widget!

However, now the wikipedia widget has stopped working for me. Same repro steps as first stated. See here:

My suspicion: Somewhere in the code pipeline it says "sv" where it should say "se" for Swedish – or vice versa.

Interestingly, my previous example with "gravity" and wikipedia is now fixed. Either this is just pure randomness, or someone is quietly fixing them 🤔

I am back with yet another example though. Searching "google" does not bring up the widget unless I switch to international region. However, this one acts a bit different from the ones I previously reported. The other ones worked if I set "Sweden" as the override, but this one does not get fixed by that. It makes me think it might be a different, but maybe related, bug, as it doesn't act the same

EDIT: Yeah I think this bug is different. I think it's because in the Sweden region, Wikipedia does not appear as a result (which is strange). This is not the same bug as I created this topic for. Or well, the Wikipedia links is much further down in the results.
