Steps to reproduce:

  • Set the country/region to Switzerland in Kagi settings
  • Set the languages [fr-ch][fr][en-us][en] in browser preferences
  • Search in the news (tested with Ukraine as it's wrote the same in french, english, german and it's in the current news)

Expected behavior:
In Switzerland, we have 4 national languages (swiss-german 62%, french 23%, swiss-italian 8% and romansh 0.?%) but we don't speak all of them.
Given, the preferred languages, I would expect to have french or english results first such as lematin.ch, letemps.ch, 20min.ch, ..., but only german/swiss-german news are shown.
It seems to behave correctly in the web tab, even tho it gives me few german results

Debug info:
Tested on : Firefox Developer Edition, Google Chrome
OS : Manjaro Linux
Region: EUROPE-WEST2
Header sent: Accept-Language fr-CH,fr;q=0.8,en-US;q=0.5,en;q=0.3

cbaconnier Can you confirm that web search results do respect the browser language preference?

I though it was since the results were way more relevant with the browser language preference at this time.
To be sure I changed them, but the results are the same.
The first results are in French although I've only set English.

Issue seems to be not fixed ? Getting the same. Thanks.

        No french results...
