Currently you can't change certain settings on other Kagi services that also have the Control Panel, because they're combined into the same block (which isn't shown in the other services). probably because it contains 'safe search' which isn't an option you should see whe using Assistant.
So maybe it makes sense to split out 'safe search' into it's own div. Put it more at the top, because I think that might be more common thing to use the control panel for than changing appearance for example anyways.
That way you can have the appearance settings shown on all other services as well.
So maybe it could become something like this:
