but this isn't the case. The latest comment on the top result is only from 2018, and there is no answer newer than 2017. I have no idea where the "Jul 19, 2024" date is coming from.
The date should show e.g. the date of the question (asked Jan 27, 2011, last edited Mar 11, 2011), since that's the text that's shown in the snippet.
