In the new Video control features, you can now adjust the rating of YouTube channels (Block/Pin/Raise/Lower). However, these same ratings to channels don't apply to the Web results. This means a blocked channel can still show up as the top result in a query. Not sure if intended for now, or a bug, so I apologize if this is secretly a feature request.
Repro:
1) On the Video tab, find a channel you don't want to see and block them
2) Switch to the Web tab and search for something where their channel may appear as a result
3) Observe the blocked channel can still appear in Web search results
Expected: Channels that are blocked don't show up in the Web results
Actual: Videos from blocked channels still appear in web results
With Pin, Raise and Lower, it would be nice if those were taken into account as well in some way. However, as there aren't as many video results shown in regular Web searches, I understand there may be less opportunity to create improved rankings.
