On iOS, Kagi doesn't provide new autosuggestion items when I swipe to type. It will update the suggestions if I manually enter/remove a key but it never updates if I input a word by swiping. I tested it on Android and it seems to work as expected there. Also, it works as expected on DuckDuckGo and Google. I experience the issue in both Orion and Safari as well.
