To expand a bit from my POV (which probably isn't that uncommon one): It would be useful that these profiles can share things but could be converted to separate accounts (or just moved between accounts) if need arises.
This is pretty much the biggest personal adoption issue I have. If I end up using Kagi long term, I would almost certainly want to use it both on my personal and work life. However, while a lot of stuff can be shared between them, there are some things I wouldn't want to show up on "work profile" (especially if I had something like NSFW lenses. Or even just political ones).
The conversion/transfer thing is a bit of safeguard. If, for whatever reason, your employer requires giving them the Kagi account you have been using for work, it would be much preferable to just give them that work profile as that is the thing you were using for work.
