OAuth login does not work on android mobile app

I cannot log into the mobile app on my phone.

Could you please provide some more information, such as:

Android or iOS
What happens? (like errors, if any)

Nothing happenes, android, and it's an oath issue directly logging in works

have Kagi account with Google SSO enabled, Firefox for Android as default browser (pretty sure irrelevant, but including just in case)
Download Android app
Press "Log In" in top left corner
Click on the Google logo under the "- or continue with -" separator
Get redirected to the Google Auth page in Firefox
Click to continue
Be redirected to Kagi.com in browser, logged in
App is still not logged in

I would expect to be redirected to the Android app, and for it to then be logged in.

I note that under "Open by default" in the app settings there are "0 verified links", which suggests that at the current moment it's not even possible for Google in the browser to redirect to the app.
